Who is responsible for your data
Home Staging Reviews operates this site and is the data controller for the information described below. For any privacy question, including a request to exercise the rights set out further down, contact us at hello@homestagingreviews.com. We answer privacy requests within 30 days.
What we collect, and why
There are only three ways we hold information about you.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful, in aggregate. It records approximate location (country or region, derived from your IP address and not stored by us in full), device and browser type, the pages you view, and how you arrived. The lawful basis is your consent, and in regions that require it we ask before any analytics cookie is set.
- Email, if you give it to us. If you submit your address to receive a course offer or resource, we store that address and the page you submitted it from, so we can send what you asked for. The lawful basis is your consent. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe.
- Messages you send us. If you email or use the contact page, we keep the message so we can reply. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering correspondence.
We do not collect payment details. Enrolments happen on the course provider's own site, never here.
Cookies and how to control them
Cookies fall into two groups on this site.
- Strictly necessary. A small amount of browser storage remembers whether you have dismissed an on-site message, so it does not reappear on every page. This is not used for tracking and is not shared.
- Analytics. Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish repeat visits. These are only set after consent where consent is required, and you can withdraw it at any time by clearing site data in your browser.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings and the site will continue to work normally.
How long we keep things
- Analytics data: retained for 14 months, then deleted automatically.
- Email addresses: kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, and removed within 30 days of either.
- Correspondence: kept for up to 24 months so we can follow up on an earlier conversation.
Who else sees it
We share data only with the services that make the site work: Google (analytics), our email provider (for sending what you requested), and our hosting provider (which processes server logs). Each acts on our instructions. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Analytics data may be processed outside your country, including in the United States, under the transfer safeguards those providers publish.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to give you a copy of what we hold, correct it, or delete it, and we will do so free of charge.
If you are in the UK, EU or EEA, the UK GDPR and GDPR additionally give you the right to object to processing, to restrict it, to receive your data in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority, which in the UK is the Information Commissioner's Office.
If you are a California resident, the CCPA and CPRA give you the right to know what personal information is collected and for what purpose, to request deletion or correction, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA.

This is disclosed in the footer and on every review page, and it does not influence our rankings, which follow our published methodology. When you follow such a link, the destination site handles your data under its own privacy policy, not this one.
External sites
Our reviews link to third-party course providers. We are not responsible for the content or the privacy practices of those external sites, and we would encourage you to read their policies before submitting anything to them.
Children
This site is intended for adults considering professional training. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version always lives at this page, with the effective date at the top. Material changes will be reflected in that date.
